We are an enthusiastic group of cavers exploring caves all around New Zealand. At Waitomo we have our own hut with magnificent views overlooking the Waitomo Valley. Our group meets once a month at different venues around Auckland. Club trips are held regularly and offer a wide variety of caves for all types of abilities and fitness levels.

Caving with a club such as the Auckland Speleo Group, you can experience the wonders of the underworld.

Rangitoto Island Cave Trip

Date: 26/27 MAY, 2012

Venue: CATHERWOODS CAVE & HAMILTON HOLE

SATURDAY: Stream passages and lots of waterfalls, this trip is suitable for novices and teenagers in the club. Bring a wetsuit.

SUNDAY: This is the exit of the once epic through trip; Auckland / Hamilton Hole. Suitable for novices with SRT experience. Bring SRT gear.

Venue: DIVE HQ, 5 Portage Rd, New Lynn

A chance to catch up and discuss caving over a drink. This months meeting will be showing several movies made by local ASG cavers. Always good for a laugh seeing yourself on the big screen!

You'll find the clubrooms located at 5 Portage road in the DIVE HQ carpark. Look for the stairwell in the back left hand corner of the carpark.
